Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic examinations and support MRI procedures on a busy clinical floor. The role requires ARRT registration and a Florida General Radiographer license, with BLS/CPR certification.

A minimum of one year of radiology experience is preferred. You will prepare patients, verify orders, assist physicians, and maintain high safety standards while collaborating with the Radiology team and other departments to ensure

• ARRT registration and Florida General Radiographer license required; MRI technologists do not need the General Radiographer license.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum one year of radiology clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients for examinations and assists radiologist during procedures.
• Reviews patient records to verify physician's orders.
• Cross trains in other departments to enhance skills when workload demands.
• Inspects films for quality and ensures proper patient data before interpretation.
• Assists with training of new technologists and technical staff.
• Maintains and operates specialized radiology equipment following safety guidelines.
• Completes exam data entry and other paperwork daily.
• Attends monthly department staff meetings.
