Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is offering a Radiologic Technology internship designed for students in their senior year. You will be supervised by a preceptor to develop technical and professional skills through observation and hands-on demonstrations.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging, positioning patients, and applying radiation safety. Training includes use of EPIC and PACS, with eligibility for on-site benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Senior Year of Radiologic Technology accredited school.
• Must have pre-approval from school to apply to internship.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment to achieve high quality images.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Ensure proper patient history is documented for procedures.
• Learn to use EPIC and PACS systems for image management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• May work evenings, overnights, and weekends as scheduled.
