Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and assist radiologists in fluoroscopic exams at the Main Campus. The role requires ARRT certification with a 1-year registry-eligibility window for new graduates.

The position supports imaging services in the SPN - Orthopedics department with a full-time schedule (8-hour day shifts). You will work to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT).
• New graduates have up to 1 year to become registered by ARRT in radiography.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse patient population and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Administers roentgen rays to patients for Radiology exams.
• Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment, develops film, prepares radiographic room and supplies.
