Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Basic Life Support.

• General knowledge of exam protocols.
• Basic PC skills.
• Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and educate them on the process.
• Perform radiographic and/or fluoroscopic procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
• Demonstrate skills for IV placement and contrast material injections.
• Operate radiographic equipment and RIS systems for imaging and documentation.
• Perform quality control to ensure optimal image quality.
• Prepare films for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Exhibit flexibility to department needs and respond appropriately.
• Communicate abnormal situations to appropriate sources to aid resolution.
• Engage with radiologists and ordering practitioners to ensure quality care.
• Follow department procedures and safety policies.
• Stock and clean exam rooms and assist with call coverage.
