Salinas Valley Health in Salinas, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging department. The role requires performing X-ray and either Angiography or CT, under the supervision of a Radiologist, with focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include patient prep, IV access, contrast administration, and post-procedure monitoring. Night shift, 0.9 FTE, 35 scheduled hours per week with ongoing competency in RIS/HIS and CPR.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, public and co-workers.
• Fine motor skills and precise hand/eye coordination for handling radiographic procedures.

Responsabilités

• Performs X-ray and either Angiography or CT in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Transports patients and provides care during and after procedures.
• Prepares patients for exams and explains procedures.
• Starts IVs and administers contrast as needed for timely exams.
• Monitors patient condition pre- and post-procedure and communicates changes.
