Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in Radiology.
• Rad Tech 1-3 years of work experience required.
• Must hold BLS and radiography credentials.
• Ability to train/coach student technologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic examinations and determines factors to minimize exposure.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Collects specimens for drug screens and performs CLIA-waived tests.
• Performs patient intake, records vital signs, and assesses patients.
• Provides ongoing patient assessment and timely reporting of findings.
• Mentors and guides junior staff and student technologists.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Manages resources and schedules to maintain efficiency.
• Demonstrates professional conduct and excellent customer service.
• Performs other assigned duties as needed.
