Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is a radiology team hub in Turlock, CA seeking an evening Radiologic Technologist. You will operate imaging equipment, perform procedures, and support radiologists to deliver diagnostic images. A sign-on bonus of up to 15,000 USD may apply based on experience.

Applicants must have CA Radiologic Technology license, ARRT, CT experience, and BLS. On-call duties may require arrival within 30 minutes when paged.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California.
• Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
• CT experience required.
• Fluoroscopy permit within two years of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry/record maintenance.
• Ability to position the body for imaging and apply accessories to produce a quality image.
• Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California., Radiologic Health Section, Department of Health.
• Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
• CT experience
• Obtain Fluoroscopy permit within two years of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry, record maintenance. Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions.
• Ability to accurately position the body for imaging. Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce a desired image.
• Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce a quality diagnostic image.
• Use of beam restricting devices, patient shielding techniques, proper screen-film combinations, assessment and implementation of appropriate exposure to factors to minimize radiation exposure.
• One year Radiologic Technologist experience in one of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Specials, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine.
• Working hours while on-call may be inconvenient or unpleasant. Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of being paged while on call.
