Job summary

Desert Care Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA. You will perform radiologic procedures across varied areas, supporting imaging and patient care with Cerner and McKesson PACS.

This role requires independent judgment and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include graduation from a radiologic technology program, California CRT certification, fluoroscopy license within one year, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program.
• California CRT certification from the Radiologic Health Branch.
• Fluoroscopy license due within the first year of hire.
• CT experience and cath lab exposure are preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under supervision as part of imaging services.
• Assist with QA/QI studies and scheduling; operate PACS systems.
• Provide patient care and maintain sterile technique per protocol.

Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience

Under the direction of the Medical Director, and in conjunction with the Administrative Director of Imaging Services performs various radiological procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to: limited monitoring of patients during procedures, performing some Specialized Radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, working in various areas and with various equipment. Also assists with QA and QI studies, patient scheduling, and crash cart monitoring. Technologist is expected to learn and perform with our Cerner information system and complete studies in our McKesson PACS system. Position is expected to solve PACS during the shift. Technologists are to complete all portable Xrays ordered ready for shift. With limited supervision uses independent judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic images. Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration. Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff. Assists the Radiologist with contrast administration. Practices sterile technique and other duties as required.
