University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to perform a wide range of radiology procedures for patients of various ages. You will complete all tasks needed to manage patient care while in the department for procedures and assist in developing and monitoring department systems to improve care quality.
The role requires a Texas MRT certification, ARRT-R registration, and active BLS certification, with an associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
The Radiology Technologist I performs a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages. Completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while the patient is in department for procedures. Assists with the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the department.
Work Experience:
One year of Diagnostic Imaging experience in a hospital setting preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Texas Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) required.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT- R) credential required.
ActiveBLS certification required.
Education and Training:
Associate's degree in Applied Sciences from an accredited Radiologic Technology school required.
