Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards, and to serve as the first point of contact for patients’ imaging needs.

The role requires ARRT‑R certification, state licensure, and current BCLS. This full-time evening-shift position includes participation in PI/QC activities and image processing to PACS, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT‑R certification is required.
• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• At least one year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures following department protocols and regulations.
• Acts as primary interface with patients for imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and ensures imaging quality.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.
