Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Denville, NJ is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join its dedicated cardiovascular team. Under the physician's direction, you will scrub and monitor procedures, ensure the room is prepared, and support invasive and noninvasive cardiac work in a fast-paced lab.

This full-time, day shift role offers a base pay range of $37.00 to $51.66 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within Prime Healthcare's

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and state license or RCIS required.
• Previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub during procedures or monitor physiologic/hemodynamic data.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared for the case.
• Monitor par levels of instruments and supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities; train new staff.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred. 3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 6. Proficient computer skills.
