Job summary

Campbell County Health in Gillette, WY, is seeking a Radiology Tech I to perform radiographic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images. Requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Wyoming radiologic technologist license, and ARRT certification.

Prior X-ray experience is a plus, and responsibilities include preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate degree required.
• Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Experience in Diagnostic X-Ray is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents relevant medical history prior to performing examinations.
• Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal imaging outcomes.
• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by the physician, following established protocols and standards of care.
• Assists the radiologist with special procedures and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring appropriate setup and patient preparation.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of radiology rooms and equipment per infection control standards.
• Operates PACS and handles image distribution as needed.
