Nemaha Valley Community Hospital is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology and CT examinations as directed by practitioners. The position is vital to the Diagnostic Imaging department, ensuring high-quality healthcare for patients.
The ideal candidate will possess experience as a Radiologic Technologist and must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, CPR certified, and licensed by the State of Kansas.
Radiologic Technologist – Imaging
Responsible to: Imaging Service Director
Responsible for: Not responsible for anyone
Interrelationships: Works cooperatively with department staff, all hospital departments and the medical staff.
To perform radiology, CT and examinations as directed by practitioners to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This technologist is a vital member of the Diagnostic Imaging department who is accountable to the Imaging Director for working to meet the needs of customers/patients in the continuous pursuit of cost effective and high quality health care.
Experience: Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Requirements: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, CPR certified, must be licensed by the State of Kansas to perform Radiography, and must maintain continuing education requirements per ARRT.
