Job summary

University Hospitals in Berea, OH seeks a PRN Radiology Tech Extender to support Radiologic Technologists during imaging procedures. You will perform basic patient assessments, assist with transport and monitoring, and handle data entry in PACS and patient records.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, ensuring safety protocols (MRI and radiation), and coordinating with the health-care team while maintaining PHI security. Requires a High School diploma/GED and <1 year of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year customer service experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologic Technologist with basic patient assessments and preparation.
• Support patient transport, chaperone, and monitoring.
• Enter data in PACS and manage radiology computer information.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and available.
• Help meet patient satisfaction goals and follow safety policies.
• Follow MRI and radiation safety policies.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality per UH policies.
• Register and check-in patients; coordinate with care team.
