Job summary

USC Care Medical Group seeks a Radiology Technician for PMOB Ortho Clinic in Pasadena, CA. This full-time, 8-hour day shift (non-exempt, non-union) requires performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with patient age considerations and strict safety protocols.

The role involves image review, equipment handling, patient verification, exam protocol adherence, and participation in after-hours standby. Prior hospital experience and ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program (college affiliated or hospital trained).
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Previous acute hospital experience desired.
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CA DPH) and ARRT registration required; BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures per procedure manual, tailoring to patient age.
• Review radiographs for positioning, technique, and identification.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment; ensure proper markers and quality.
• Confirm patient identification and appropriate exam per doctors order.
• Provide radiation protection and ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participate in after-hours standby and weekend rotations as needed.
