Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 1 year of radiology tech experience preferred, especially in Emergency/Portable/Surgery/Interventional areas.
• ARRT certification required upon hire or transfer.
• CDPH CRT certification required upon hire or transfer.
• CDPH fluoroscopy permit required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• BLS certification required upon hire or transfer.
• CSRT venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographs for medical diagnosis under limited supervision.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for proper exposure and digital image processing.
• Record pertinent information related to radiographic procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
