Job summary

Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY is seeking a full-time Radiology Tech. The position requires ARRT registration and a KY license to practice, with cross-training available in MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound.

The successful candidate will arrange patients, perform radiographs, and ensure minimal radiation exposure while following established guidelines. This role reports to the Chief Technologist or Radiology Manager and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4 x 10 hours shifts
• 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Radiology Tech credentials required
• MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound credentials preferred but not required - CROSS TRAINING AVAILABLE

Qualifications:

• Arranges patients for radiological examinations
• Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems
• Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited program required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. required
• License to practice in the state of Kentucky is required
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Experience preferred
• MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound registration preferred but not required - Cross training available
