Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography procedures across departments including OR and fluoroscopy. You will ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy while adhering to established imaging protocols and Radiation Safety standards.

The role requires use of PPE, proper documentation, and collaboration with radiologists and healthcare teams. A High School diploma is required, with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARRT certification may be required depending on unit/state.
• 2+ years of radiologic technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control standards and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean radiology room.
• Completes documentation for Radiologist support and schedules.
• Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments including OR/fluoroscopy.
• Operates scanners, injectors, monitors and related equipment safely.
• Positions patients and equipment to produce diagnostic images meeting Radiologist standards.
• Ensures patient comfort, safety and privacy during exams.
• Adapts imaging protocols for patients of different ages.
