Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to image neonate through geriatric patients. The role requires autonomy to perform routine radiographs and to collaborate with a care team.

You will perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and must be ARRT-registered with CPR certification. Weekend work is required with 7:00 pm to 7:30 am shift on Fri/Sat/Sun; on-call not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Ability to interact tactfully with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred: prior diagnostic radiology experience.

Responsibilities

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED:1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• 3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• 4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• PREFERRED:1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
