Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, producing routine radiographs for neonate through geriatric patients. The role requires autonomy and the ability to work in hospital areas with indirect supervision.

The successful candidate will be ARRT-certified, CPR-certified, and able to interact tactfully with patients, physicians, and staff. Work hours are 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified in CPR.
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce radiographs for patients across age groups.
• Performs intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies as required.
• Works in hospital areas with autonomy and indirect supervision.
• The role serves a female population over 35 years of age.

Responsibilities

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). 3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel. 4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). PREFERRED:1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
