Qualifications

Job Title: Rad Tech - Cardio Vascular - Cath Lab

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab

Shift: Days - 7:30a-5:00p - Full time (36 hours)

Position Summary:

Performs advanced practice cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventions, and device implantations. Provides peri-procedural care and education, assists cardiologists and specialists, and maintains detailed records. Fully trained in both Cath lab and EP lab procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree in Health Science, majoring in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT, Radiology Technologist, BLS, ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
• Experience: 1-3 years in Special Procedures, Cardiovascular Lab, or similar
• Skills: Knowledge of vascular anatomy, operation of angiographic equipment, basic computer skills, ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions, and proficiency in imaging techniques and radiation safety.
