Job summary

Henry Ford Hospital - Detroit Main Campus is seeking a Radiology Technology Assistant to support the Radiology team with clerical, technical, and patient care duties in General Imaging. This contingent, variable shift role covers 20 hours per week with rotating days.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, exam review, exam preparation, patient education and transport between imaging areas, under general supervision. BLS certification is required at hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Medical knowledge and terminology preferred.
• One year clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, and patient-related duties.
• Assist Radiology team and provide patient transportation and preparation for exams.
• Check-in patients, review exams, and educate patients.
• Work across imaging sections as needed per operational demands.
