Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging is seeking a Radiology Clinical Tech Assistant to join our patient-focused team. This PRN, as-needed role supports our outpatient imaging centers in Kernersville, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, NC.

Competitive base pay with shift differential, 401(k) matching, and no on-call/holidays. Requirements include a year of phlebotomy or medical assistant experience, high school diploma, and BLS within 60 days.

Qualifications

• One year of phlebotomy and/or Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as an extension of licensed staff.
• Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging setting.
• Prepare and document information accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology and use computer systems for data handling.

Position Status: PRN

Schedule: as needed

Location: This will support all of our outpatient imaging centers located in Kernersville, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, NC.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.

EDUCATION:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
