Midland Health is seeking a Technologist Assistant focused on patient safety to operate within the scope of practice and institutional guidelines. The role emphasizes accountability for quality of care and ongoing professional development.

The candidate will perform assessments, observe and communicate to support clinicians, evaluate patient outcomes, and help ensure safe, effective care within the Total Joint & Spine Center environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant License/Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Total Joint & Spine Center initial and annual education: 0.70 hours.

Responsabilités

• Complete an assessment.
• Assesses situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.
• Acts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the healthcare providers acting as an aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
• Evaluate and report patient outcomes.
