Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Radiology Tech Assistant to support patient care in the radiology department. Under supervision of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse, you will help with patient intake, positioning for exams, and prep discussions.

Responsibilities include patient transport, documenting history on screening forms, and performing other duties as assigned. This role requires a high school diploma, Florida CNA preferred, and BLS certification; it offers

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Health related education or certification.
Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida preferred.
American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Provider.

Responsibilities

Assists with receiving patient in the exam room, proper positioning of patients for exams, discussing exams and preps with patients.
Assists in the transport of patients to and from the designated exam area.
Assists Technologist on recording patient history on screening questionnaire.
Performs other duties as assigned.
