Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Radiology Tech Assistant to support the delivery of patient care in the radiology department under the supervision of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse. The role assists with receiving patients in the exam room, proper positioning for exams, and pre- and post-procedure prepping.

It also involves transporting patients to and from the designated exam area and helping staff record patient history on screening questionnaires.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Health related education or certification preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in Florida preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification preferred for Health Care Provider.

Responsabilités

• Assists with receiving patients in the exam room and proper positioning for exams.
• Assists in transporting patients to and from the designated exam area.
• Assists Technologist in recording patient history on the screening questionnaire.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
