Job summary

Harrison County Hospital in Indiana is seeking a Rad Tech Assistant to support the imaging department. The role focuses on patient transport to the diagnostic imaging area, assisting Radiologic Technologists with transfers to the imaging table, and helping patients with mobility and comfort.

Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator, you'll maintain mammography file folders, digitize outside films into PACS, and handle related clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous medical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to the diagnostic imaging department.
• Assist Radiologic Technologists with patient transfer to imaging table and to the bathroom.
• Maintain mammography file folders and digitize out-of-hospital films into PACS.
• Perform other duties as directed to support departmental operations.
