Job summary

Heritage-Valley-Health-System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the ambulatory surgery center team in Monaca, PA. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will perform prescribed radiographic C-Arm imaging and provide compassionate patient care.

This on-site role requires ARRT certification (or board eligible with certification within 6 months), ARRT registration, BLS, and completion of required background checks within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or ARRT Board Eligible with commitment to obtain Board Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Maintain ARRT registration current and active.
• Complete HR-106 clearances within 90 days of starting employment.
• BLS certification is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed radiographic C-Arm imaging and patient care services.
• Work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and adhere to center policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards in the ambulatory surgery center.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or ARRT Board Eligible, must attain Board Certification within 6 months of hire

Maintain ARRT registration

Successful completion of HR-106 clearances within 90 days

Job description

Work Location: HV Ambulatory Surgery Center, Center Township Medical Neighborhood 79 Wagner Road Suite 101 Monaca, PA
Work Hours: Monday-Friday daylight; 80 hours per week

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and according to established standards and surgery center policies and procedures provides prescribed radiographic C-Arm imaging and patient care services.

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and achieved ARRT certification in Radiology or ARRT Board Eligible, must attain Board Certification within 6 months of hire
• Maintain ARRT registration
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• BLS certification

PREFERRED

• Radiologic Technologist experience working in ambulatory surgery center
• Experience in use of C-arm radiology
