Job summary

Summerville Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team that makes up Medical Imaging, you will have a significant impact on the improvement of human life.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, hold ARRT RT certification, and SCRQSA license in South Carolina, in a full-time role that offers a collaborative

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• RT Certification from ARRT is required.
• South Carolina State License: SCRQSA in Radiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient and operating equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff through safety practices.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare the room with necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, schedule patients, and ensure a positive patient encounter.
