Job summary

You will ensure images are captured accurately and efficiently to aid diagnosis, prepare and administer contrast under physician supervision, and verify patient information before procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• 0–2 years modality-specific experience.
• ARRT registration and SC licensure; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders.
• Ensures diagnostic images are obtained accurately and efficiently for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast agents under physician supervision.
• Verifies patient identity and orders prior to procedures.
• Positions patients appropriately and operates radiographic equipment safely.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy and comfort throughout examinations.
• Documents examinations and patient information in electronic systems.
• Maintains equipment and infection prevention protocols.
