Insight in Michigan is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide to greet patients, enter orders, and support the imaging team in preparing for procedures. This role ensures smooth patient flow within the Radiology Department and keeps patients comfortable and safe.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with staff and patients in a full-time onsite position offering comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Tech Aide is responsible for greeting patients, order entry, helping maintain patient flow within the Radiology Dept and assists the imaging staff in preparing for the imaging procedure.

Duties:

• Clerical duties include answering phones and greeting patients upon arrival.
• Changing patients and directing them to the appropriate modality.
• Assists technical staff in Radiology by performing duties associated with Radiology reception.
• Performs tasks associated with the flow of patient records in Radiology and to other required locations.
• Attends to patient needs, comfort and safety.
• Interacts with staff and co-workers in a manner that promotes positive working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries. Requires effective interpersonal skills.
• Certification: Must be CPR certified.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see, hear and move intermittently, or use prosthetics that will enable you to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must be able to move about the facility and between workstations, standing, walking and lifting as required by position. May require irregular hours and will result in occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquires. Must be able to tolerate possible exposure to electrical hazards, blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids.
• Personal Protective Equipment: May be required to wear mask, glove, gown. Possible exposure to infectious and contagious disease, chemicals, toxic substances, and bloodborne pathogens from blood and/or bodily fluids.
