Overview

Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 392-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles. Responsibilities

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person in this role is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment.
  2. Providing direct patient care to patients of all ages.
  3. Contributing to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.
  4. Performing all general radiography procedures and all procedures in one additional imaging modality (IR, CT, NM, US, MRI).
  5. Working closely with the chief technologist and radiologist to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
  6. Participating in on-call assignments.

Qualifications

  1. Graduate from an AMA approved school of radiology technology.
  2. Associates degree preferred.
  3. Specialized Training - Training in an additional modality from an AMA approved school or OJT with licensure from accrediting body or OJT with documented performance and meeting eligibility requirements for board examinations as outlined by the accrediting body.
  4. Certification by the California Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CRT).
  5. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  6. Fluoroscopy and BLS certifications required.

RADTECH

This position is represented by SEIU.

Pay Range

$47.61 - $57.76 /hour
