WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. in Wheeling, WV, seeks a Radiology Technologist - Level I to perform imaging and related patient care within the Radiology Department. The role involves rotating across diagnostic areas, selecting appropriate exposure factors, and maintaining safety standards.
The position requires ARRT Radiography certification, state radiography licensure as applicable, and BLS within 30 days of hire. A minimum of one year of radiologic technologist experience is expected.
Performs imaging / therapeutic services and associated patient care with support of the Radiology Department mission to provide diagnostic information for the subsequent treatment of patients at WVU Medicine. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Radiology Technologist - Level I, as defined within the job description.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
MD:** **Radiographer License through Maryland Board of Physicians
OH:** **Radiographer License through Ohio Department of Health
PA:** **No state licensure required
WV: Radiography License through West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
