Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson seeks a skilled radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician direction. They will apply x-ray energy to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly.

The role requires ARRT or registry eligibility, ARRT within one year, BLS, and applicable state licensure if required. You will work under minimal supervision and participate in high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with ARRT preparation.
• BLS certification required; state license if required.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility with ARRT within one year of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma;
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • ARRT or registry eligible
    • must have ARRT within one year post graduation
    • BLS, state license if required
