Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, OR is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Radiology Technologist. This 4x10 schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM, in a Level II Trauma Center performing standard diagnostic X-ray exams.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating radiographic equipment, and using PACS/RIS; may support portables, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT certification or eligibility with certification within 6 months required.
• Oregon Radiology Technologist license; OBMI temporary license accepted at hire for techs awaiting ARRT-R.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams.
• May support portables, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging as assigned.
• Position patients and prep exams; operate radiographic equipment.
• Apply radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Review prior images and patient history in PACS/RIS.

Pay Range: $41.67-$58.31/hr + Applicable Shift Differentials

Pay & Differentials

About The Role & Setting

• Full-time night shift Radiology Technologist (1.0 FTE)
• Based in a busy Level II Trauma Center serving the Springfield/Eugene area
• Perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams
• May support:
  • Portables
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Surgical imaging (as assigned)
• Work includes:
  • Patient positioning and exam prep
  • Operating radiographic equipment
  • Applying radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Using PACS/RIS and reviewing prior images and patient history

Minimum Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (Radiography)
  • ARRT-eligible candidates considered (certification required within 6 months)
• Oregon Radiology Technologist license
  • OBMI temporary license accepted at hire for techs awaiting ARRT-R certification
• BLS (required upon hire)
• PACS/RIS experience
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly
• 1+ year of experience preferred (not required)
