Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Salt Lake City is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform quality images, maintain safety standards, and support students and staff as a clinical resource. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with at least one year post-certification experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma.
  • One year post-certification experience required to evaluate or instruct student radiographers.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology - ARRT is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care in the medical imaging department.
  • Perform high-quality images and exams while following safe radiation practices.
  • Demonstrate leadership and serve as a role model for other technologists.
  • Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologists, and hospital personnel.
  • Ensure current standards of practice for the unit.

Join our team as a Radiology Technologist (RT). In the Radiology Technologist role you will:

  • Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
  • Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
  • Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
  • Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
  • One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
  • Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
