Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in the medical imaging department and performing diagnostic imaging with attention to radiation safety.

The position supports education and mentorship for students and staff, maintains current practice standards, and requires ARRT licensure and BLS; a strong patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma, as required.
• Minimum of 1 year post-certification experience to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
• Assure current standards of practice for the unit.

Job Requirements

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• HS diploma or GED required
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements

Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Pay Range

$27.97 - $47.11 /hour
