Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform essential imaging procedures under minimal supervision. Candidates should be graduates of accredited imaging programs, have ARRT certification or are registry eligible, and possess an AHA BLS certification. Qualifications

• Preferred associate degree in a related field.
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
• Must be ARRT certified or registry eligible.
• AHA BLS and state licensing as required.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program (Required)
• Associate degree (Preferred)
• 1-3 years experience (Preferred)
• ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post‑graduation (Required)
• AHA BLS, state license if required (Required)
