Job summary

Western Carolina Surgery Center seeks a FT Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician orders in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports orthopedics, spine, podiatry, ENT, and ophthalmology services in a physician-owned setting.

The Radiology Technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the health care team to deliver quality results. Competitive benefits and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT licensure/certification required.
• State Department of Health license if required by the state.
• BLS and ACLS at the center's discretion.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and health care team.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure/certification
• State Department of Health License if required by the state
• BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
