Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiographic procedures that support radiologic diagnoses. The role requires independent judgment in imaging and may include on-call procedures and surgery cases.

Qualified candidates will have completed a JRCERT-approved program in Radiologic Technology and hold ARRT/CRT certification and CPR certification. Six months of clinical experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Job Summary

Performs radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgement to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. Must be able to do surgery cases and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Qualifications

• SPECIAL SKILLS: Good verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
• Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications: Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum six-(6) months clinical experience.
