Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Operate, inspect, clean, and maintain radiology equipment; report malfunctions and coordinate service.
• Monitor radiation safety compliance and maintain documentation with Radiation Safety Officer as needed.
• Enter patient information, imaging data, and charges into EHR and other systems.
• Prepare, clean, and restock imaging rooms for procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and transportation while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish radiology supplies.
• Maintain imaging records per regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team to support patient care and workflow.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and QA standards.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate, inspect, clean, and maintain radiology equipment; promptly report malfunctions and coordinate service needs to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
• Monitor compliance with radiation safety regulations and organizational standards. Maintain required documentation and collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer as needed.
• Accurately enter patient information, imaging data, and charges into the electronic health record (EHR) and other applicable information systems.
• Prepare, clean, and restock fluoroscopy and imaging rooms to ensure readiness for patient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and transportation to and from imaging areas while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure radiology supplies are adequately stocked; order and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support efficient patient care and workflow.
