Job summary

UW Medical Center – Northwest is seeking a Radiology Technical Assistant on a per diem schedule. You will prepare patients for exams, assist technologists with positioning, transport patients, and help maintain exam rooms and supplies.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment under supervision and ensuring efficient workflow while providing compassionate care and high-quality service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets patient and escorts to exam room, prepares patient for procedure.
• Assists technologist with positioning and basic procedures under supervision.
• Operates imaging equipment under direct supervision and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Transports patients according to safety procedures and maintains accurate records.
