Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Clinical Tech Assistant to support radiology operations and patient care. You will assist with patient movement, room setup, and routine tasks under technologists’ supervision, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.

Level I and II duties include preparing rooms, transporting patients, data entry, and instrument handling, with emphasis on teamwork and clinical efficiency in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or prior experience in customer service or healthcare.
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-focused service in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance by assisting with movement of patients to and from radiographic tables.
• Clean assigned work area and equipment and stock radiographic rooms with supplies.
• Provide transport of non-oxygen and oxygen patients to and from hospital locations.
• Assist technologists with duties related to completion of imaging procedures and patient positioning.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and monitor patient status during imaging.
• Assist radiographic staff with completion of radiographic studies and data entry.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and assist with stocking to avoid shortages.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
