ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acute-care facilities in the region. Our 794-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,800 professional healthcare employees who serve a 27-county area throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the Radiology Manager/Director of assigned area.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general direction, supervises the daily work performed in his/her respective area of the Department of Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or related field
Skills: Must be able to cope with stressful situations and handle deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced medical environment. Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills. Must be competent in use of facility communication systems and equipment (e.g., phones, fax machines, IBEX). Must be able to input and retrieve information from radiological or other medical equipment and computerized systems.

License: Meet licensure and registration requirements for staff technologists for his/her respective area(s)

WORKING CONDITIONS
Personal Protective Equipment:May be required to wear mask, gloves, or gown. Possible exposure to infectious and contagious disease, chemicals, toxic substances, and bloodborne pathogens from blood and/or bodily fluids. Must be able to tolerate possible exposure to radiation and electrical hazards, and blood borne pathogens or bodily fluids; must be able to tolerate wearing heavy protective garments for extended periods of time.
Physical Demands:Must be able to move about the facility and between workstations and to handle stooping, standing, walking, and lifting as required by the position. Must be able to see, hear, and move intermittently, or use prosthetics that will enable you to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. May require irregular hours and will result in occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
