Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Supervisor Radiology at Mount Sinai Morningside to oversee weekends 8a-12a and weekdays 8a-4p. The role directs radiology staff, coordinates shifts, and ensures procedures are performed safely and efficiently.

The supervisor will establish priorities, approve overtime, manage supplies, and ensure equipment is well maintained. A leadership background in radiology and certification are highly valued for patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a J.R.C.E.R.T. approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 3 years of experience as a radiology technician.
• 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• ARRT certification preferred with NY license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, oversees, organizes and directs subordinates performing radiology procedures.
• Sets work priorities based on daily assignments and patient load.
• Prepares and maintains work schedules and adjusts for illnesses, vacations, emergencies.
• Interviews and handles hiring, discipline and discharge of staff; trains and evaluates.
