Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to lead and oversee imaging operations at University Hospital in Madison, WI. You will ensure quality, efficiency and compliance across modalities and sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, space and equipment planning, and continuous process improvement to enhance patient care and satisfaction. A radiologic technology background with leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology or from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee all operational aspects and activities for assigned sections/modalities, locations and support areas.
  • Supervise daily operations including delivery of care, patient satisfaction, HR management, equipment oversight and process improvement.
  • Participate in planning space, equipment, staff, systems, services, supplies, budgeting and future programs.
  • Ensure imaging operations comply with departmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day/evening shift. General schedule will be Monday - Friday, hours ranging from 7:00 - 8:00PM. Some weekend shifts as needed. Oversight and travel to all UW Health CT sites required. Daily Schedule may shift based on department needs. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We Are Seeking a Radiology Supervisor To
  • Plan and oversee all operational aspects and activities for assigned sections/modalities, locations and support areas.
  • Supervise all day-to-day operations including the delivery of care, patient satisfaction, human resource management, equipment oversight and process improvement activities.
  • Participate in planning efforts involving space, equipment, staff, systems, services, supplies, budgeting and financial management and future programs and services
  • Ensure that imaging operations are in compliance with prescribed departmental and organizational policies, procedures and strategic values, as well as regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology or from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
Work Experience
  • 2 years of relevant clinical experience Required
  • 3 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred
  • 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a leadership role Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Upon Hire Required or
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Upon Hire Required or
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required or
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) Preferred
