Job summary

Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and to serve as the first line interface with customers.

You will participate in PI/QC activities and ensure timely processing and transmission of images to PACS, while meeting state licensing requirements and maintaining current BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently attending an accredited health care educational program for radiologic technology.
• Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing to operate x-ray equipment; documentation of exemption required in personnel file.
• Completion of first year curriculum requirements.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of clinical experience in radiology technologist program required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
