Job summary

Watson Clinic LLP is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and ensure quality images according to department protocols. You will prepare patients and work areas, follow infection control standards, and maintain radiation safety practices while communicating effectively with the OR team and patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an AMA‑accredited radiologic technology program, and Florida ARRT certification.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
  • Florida Radiation Control certification.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates competency in the operation of all radiographic equipment.
  • Prepares the patient and work environment for the successful completion of radiographic examination.
  • Produces diagnostic radiographs according to department standards and protocols.
  • Practices infection control procedures and universal precautions.
  • Performs basic patient care protocols under the direction of the OR Charge Nurse/OR Manager.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrates radiation safety procedures.

  • Practices all types of isolation, infection control procedures and universal precautions.
  • Performs basic patient care protocols according to department guidelines under the direction of the OR Charge Nurse and/or OR Manager.
  • Assists with emergency code situation in accordance with Center policies.
  • Demonstrates proper radiation safety procedures.
  • Complies with safety and emergency procedures consistent with Center policy.
  • Complies with all Center policies.
