The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System seeks a dynamic, board-certified Radiologist to serve as Chief of Radiology. In this pivotal role, you will lead a highly skilled clinical team, drive departmental growth, and elevate patient care standards for our Veterans at an advanced academic teaching facility.

Qualifications

US citizenship criteria consistent with VA policy.
MD/DO degree from VA-approved school.
Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
Radiology residency leading to board certification eligibility.
Board certified in Radiology.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred leadership experience in radiology management.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the diagnostic imaging department staff.
Oversee daily clinical operations and patient workflows.
Set high standards for image reading and safety.
Work with health system leaders on strategic goals.
Mentor junior staff, fellows, and resident doctors.
Provide academic oversight for training programs and medical students.
