Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Radiology/Surgical Technologist to support fluoroscopy procedures in a Michigan facility.

The role involves operating C-arm and related equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting surgeons during procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

You will prepare sterile supplies, set up table and instruments, and anticipate surgeons’ needs while handling film development and EHRO documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiological/Surgical Tech program.
• Board Certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates fluoroscopy equipment and assists surgeons during procedures.
• Maintains and operates all departmental equipment (C-arm, power injector, ultrasound, autoclave, etc.).
• Develops film and uploads images; documents in EHRO.
• Sets up sterile table, instruments, and supplies per procedure; supports aseptic technique and follows AORN standards.
• Performs Perma-Cath management including dressing changes and removal of catheters; assists with wound debridement and staple/suture removal.
• Scrubs, gowns and gloves in accordance with aseptic technique.

The technologist provides scrub assistance skills and operates fluoroscopy equipment within the procedure rooms and department as needed.Essential Functions:Follows Michigan Vascular Center’s policies and procedures, including HR and accreditationIncorporates Michigan Vascular Center’s Mission and Vision into daily practiceDemonstrates primary focus of customer service for internal and external customers.Regular and reliable attendanceDemonstrates accuracy, completeness, clarity, and conciseness in oral and written communication.Works to achieve accuracy in an organized and timely mannerHandles Protected Health Information in accordanceSpecific Functions:Maintains and operates all departmental equipment necessary for patient care i.e. C-arm, power injector, ultrasound, autoclave, various catheters, etcFilm development and image uploading, and documenting in the EHROpen sterile supplies and prepare for each procedure. Sets up table, instruments, and supplies according to procedure.
